We are living through an extraordinary moment in history. And sadly, with so many speech and debate tournaments having been cancelled, we can't Extemp our way through the coronavirus pandemic.

Prepd is considering launching an entirely new type of Extemp tournament: a massive, open, online competition with cash prizes and fancy technology.

A large percentage of tournament registration fees would fund a scholarship pool. The top competitors will earn a meaningful check. The higher you place, the bigger your cash prize.
We will live stream the out-rounds and create a fun, interactive dashboard for family and friends to follow your progress.
Whether you place among the best in the country - or your state, region, or city. Prepd will recognize your tournament accomplishments with a unique virtual certificate that can be shared with colleges.
While we're at it, let's run a separate tournament for novices, too. That way, first year Extempers can experience tough competition and earn tournament glory as well!
